BIO

Hi, my name is Kay!
With a passion for sports media and storytelling, I have dedicated my career to capturing the energy and emotion of athletics through various content creations. I have had the privilege of being one of the first interns in the Photography & Videography Internship at All-Star Sports Academy. At All-Star, I collaborated closely with the marketing team to produce high-quality photos and videos that showcased the intensity and excitement of various events, including academic prospect camps, showcases, tournaments, and signing days. This experience not only strengthened my technical skills in photography but also expanded my knowledge of videography. Recently, I participated in the Lehigh Valley Phantoms Press Row Prospects Program as a photographer, where I gained hands-on experience covering a game day at the professional level for an American Hockey League team.
I recently graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor of Design in Professional Photography, a minor in Digital Media Trends and Analytics, and a certificate in Digital Arts. During my time at Penn State, I gained experience in sports media through various roles, including contributing as a sports photographer for Comm Radio and serving as a Marketing Coordinator for the 8th Annual Penn State Sports Business Conference. These experiences allowed me to develop skills in content creation, social media management, graphic design, and event marketing. Beyond these roles, I was actively involved in the Association for Women in Sports Media and the Penn State Sports Business Club, where I continued to grow my industry knowledge and connect with like-minded students and professionals. Through my experiences in sports digital media, I’m driven to keep pushing creative boundaries, telling impactful stories, and contributing to making an impact in the sports industry.
